The USPA has established a program called Team USA. This is another program designed to assist young, talented polo players. There were 73 applications filed from individuals from all over the US. Originally twenty individuals were going to be chose but the program was so popular it was expanded to twenty-four.

Congratulations to Chris Collins, “Carlitos” Galindo, Nicolai Galindo, Nick Morrison, Collin White and Jared Sheldon who will be representing the Pacific Circuit. They will be attending a training camp in West Palm Beach that will be presented by the High Goal Committee of the USPA. Many of the top professional polo players will be teaching not only polo skills but also team building and how to succeed in a very competitive sport.Approximately 8 players will be chosen as Team USA to play matches through out the year.

It is anticipated that this will be an annual event so those that didn’t get chosen this year should apply again.
