Attachment B to 1023 Application

Description of Fund-Raising Activities
(Response to Part II, question 3)

The American International Polo Foundation ("Foundation") will solicit contributions by various means, including personal contacts, telephone solicitations and mailings, where appropriate. The Foundation also expects to hold one or more fund-raising dinners or events each year to obtain contributions from the public.

The Foundation's directors and officers will be expected to participate in fundraising efforts through personal contacts with donors in the community and other means. The Foundation also expects to enlist the help of volunteers as needed to help with fund-raising. The Foundation has no current plans to hire a professional fund-raiser.

On August 26, 2000, the Foundation held a fund-raising dinner at the Santa Barbara home of Patrick Nesbitt, a Foundation director. Members of the public were invited to this event, which was staged in part to provide travel funds for players competing in the Federation of International Polo 2001 world polo championship in Sydney, Australia. The Foundation will likely hold one or more similar fund-raising events in 2001 and subsequent

years.
