The 20 acre ranch is the Santa Barbara residence of Patrick Nesbitt. The ranch incorporates a 15 horse stable, a private club house with office facilities and onsite management residences. There is also a "butterfly habitat" with waterfalls, ponds, and sculptures, punctuating the landscaped and flowering riding trails though out the property. Polo practices, frequently followed by asadas (Argentine Bar-b-que beef cooked on specially designed cooking spits) by invitation.
The Bella Vista Polo Club built
in 1999 is privately owned by Patrick Nesbitt and located in
Summerland, Santa Barbara County, California, overlooking the
Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands. The grass polo field is 345
yards X 150 yards with spectacular mountains to the north and
ocean to the south. The Bella Vista Polo Club is located along
Highway 101 approximately one mile north of the Santa Barbara
Polo & Racquet Club and next to SBPC practice area, Meeker
Field.
