Well, the final game of the
tournament didn't turn out quite like we had hoped. After a very
physical game against the Ft. Worth team, Poway was defeated
for the 2002 National Interscholastic Championship with a score
of 21 to 18.

The morning started out with
the Poway squad dyeing their hair blue this year. Shane had his
styled so it would stand up! Our kids even talked the Dillon
team (Florida) into adding blue streaks to show team spirit.
Shane tied with Alex Gleason
from Ft Worth as the #1 pick for all-stars.
This was the final game that
Jared, Shane and Danika played together as an interscholastic
team. It was the ending of 4 very wonderful years playing together!
We just got home today (Sunday afternoon) so sorry this is so
short and only a few photos attached. I promise to get out more
details on the game with pictures within the next few days.
Thank you again to everyone
that helped make our last 4 years happen I will be now spending
my time between 2 colleges, so we will be making new memories.
