FIP now has as members 84 countries that play polo. Several of
those countries (Russia, Japan, Norway and Poland) are establishing
polo, but have not begun to play in their country. They have
organized and begun the process and have submitted membership
applications and in two cases paid membership fees. Russia and
Japan are both full paid members and are working to establish
polo in those countries.
We have three levels of membership.
Full - pays dues and participates in FIP sponsored activities
and has submitted a list of players and their handicaps. Corresponding
- completed a membership application and has submitted a list
of players and their handicaps for that country, but does not
participate in FIP sponsored events. Contact - we have established
that polo is played in that country, but they have not submitted
an application or handicaps for that country. Polo indicates
a country that has been reported to play polo, but we have not
established a contact as of this time.
