Why join the USPA?
The benefits shown here are a quick example of why everyone should
join. An individual member, including students, can join for
as little as $150 ($200 after January 1) which can amount to
more than the following if purchased separately:
Member Benefits
1. $1 Million Excess Personal
Liability insurance
for all registered Players and Students. Additional insurance
is available for purchase at preferred group rates such as life,
health, horses, etc.
2. Annual USPA Yearbook
for all Players and Associates. This
book lists all the polo clubs, members, USPA sanctioned tournaments,
etc. in the U.S. including contacts, phone, fax and address information
for easy access without having to turn on the computer and access
the web site.
3. CHOICE OF ONE: (other available for purchase) Monthly
Polo Player's Edition for all Players and Associates. Beautiful
glossy color magazine not easily obtainable at magazine stores
full of articles and photos of life styles of the world of polo.
Or
Sidelines equestrian newspaper
for all Players and Associates. A newspaper that incorporates
both polo and equestrian events throughout the United States.
4. Eligibility to participate
in USPA events. USPA
Sanctioned Events can only include USPA registered members. Many
polo clubs do not even allow anyone to participate in play without
being a registered USPA member.
Polo Club Benefits
Polo facilities can also
join the USPA as a Club which also offers specific benefits.
1. USPA sanctioned tournaments.
The prestige and association
of one of the oldest sporting associations in America.
2. Special group rates for purchase of insurance
covering horses, cars, personal property, bystanders, etc.
3. A national office and
state governing bodies
to assist with organization, tournaments, scheduling, marketing,
networking, and communication efforts to assist in all aspects
of polo.
